Mostly, Hungarian flutists play with the Haydn Orchestra, including the original first flute Béla Drahos, who is now active as a conductor, and the current first flute Imre Kovacs, they are among the best players in Hungary. Ms. Rita Keveházi-Rajz is also a fine musician, well up to the standard of her predecessors.
Since 1992 she has played with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and she took part in the orchestra’s first Japan tour. She joined the Haydn Orchestra in 2005, replacing Monika Hegedus.
The second flute part of Haydn's symphonies is rather sober but she supports the first flute and makes beautiful harmony.
