Rupert Schöttle (Cello)

 Born in Mannheim in 1957, Mr. Rupert Schöttle studied music in Salzburg and Vienna. As a freelance musician, he frequently played with a lot of famous ensembles including the Haydn Orchestra, the Vienna State Opera Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, and Sir George Solti's “World Orchestra for Peace.

His talent is not limited to music. In 2000 he published his first book “Götter in Frack”. This is a story about great conductors of 20th century, followed by "Spötter in Frack" (2001) and "Täter in Frack" (2003). His latest crime thriller, “Der Bestattungsvirtuose" has just best issued in March 2007.
