Everything about Hollywood Bowl Debut of Adam Fischer

Hollywood Bowl's Big AdvertisementWhen the Opera and Concert season ends in June, the summer vacation starts in the European music world, however, active Adam Fischer flew to the West Coast of the USA and made his Hollywood Bowl debut at it's 87th season.

The Hollywood Bowl is a huge amphitheater in the city of cinema, Hollywood. Every year from June to August, there are fine concerts of Jazz, pops and classical music almost every day. It is a casual event where 4-6 people sit together in a box and order wine and dinner, enjoying the evening party. The world famous Los Angeles Philharmonic hosts a "Classical Night" every Tuesday and Thursday.

After last January, this is the second time for Adam Fischer to conduct the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Despite the short notice, he conducted wonderful Kod?y and Mozart and that resulted in an immediate invitation to '99 Hollywood Bowl and 99/2000 season. This time, he conducted two concerts including the opening performance of classical night.

Adam Fischer at Santa Monica BeachDifferent from serious regular concert series, Hollywood Bowl concerts are very casual entertainment. The PA system was used in order to get high volume enough for the huge auditorium. Even though sometimes noises outside distract the audience's attention. Artistically it is not an ideal situation; however, Hollywood Bowl is an important part of the musical life of Los Angeles. Local radio stations broadcasted a special 4-hours-long program of Adam Fischer including an Interview with him. Over the course of two performances, more than 20,000 saw Adam Fischer conducting in a brand new white tuxedo and enjoyed his music very much.

Adam Fischer will appear in Los Angeles next May in the regular concert season of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. In addition to R. Strauss "Don Juan" and Kodály's "Dances of Galanta", he will play his favorite, Haydn symphony No. 88 and the Trumpet concerto. (Program subject to change.)
