Haydn Symphonies Vol. 5 on sale from Nimbus

As we reported in the last issue, Nimbus Records released Haydn Symphonies Volume 5 (No. 70 - 81) by Adam Fischer & the Haydn Orchestra in October.

This was recorded in 1997 and 1998. Although most of 70s symphonies are unfamiliar, they all are masterpieces. We can enjoy wonderful solos by horn and flute. Producer Mr. Dominic Fyfe wants to know the fans opinion. Please give us some input. The fan club will forward it to him.

Editorial Note

We have many reports about the Haydntage 2000 and opera "Fidelio". The regular articles, "Concert halls of the world", "Questions from a fan" and "German, Hungarian Mini Lesson" will come back next issue.
Currently, the fan club is considering the restructuring of our web site. Since 1995, more than 30,000 people have accessed our site. Our home page contains information paper version can't, such as the archive of the article and the performance history database. Since the data size is getting bigger, we have to choose whether to delete old information or upgrade the web server. We are also considering getting our own domain name. If you have a request, please contact us.

Next issue will have reports from Tanglewood, the Mannheim debut performance of "Bluebeard's castle", and information about the Mannheim Schools Project.
