Adam Fischer's appearance on TV

The famous Bayreuth Festival is approaching and several TV programs and magazine articles have featured the current Ring conductor Adam Fischer.

The German public TV station 3SAT has taped the Zurich Opera Production, Paisiello's "Nina" (Conductor Adam Fischer and Cecilia Bartoli as title role.) At the moment we don't know when it will be on air but we hare hoping it will be soon.

On April 23, SWR in Germany broadcast a short documentary about Adam Fischer. It was an interesting program introducing Adam Fischer's family and his important activities with the Helsinki Association that is helping refugees.

In addition, the article about Adam Fischer and Bayreuth will appear in the German Magazine, FonoForum in the future.

Editorial Note  - About CD Release

The Dutch Brilliant Label had acquired the license and has started to sell the entire symphonies as one box of 33 CDs. However, the first lot contains noises the original Nimbus sets don't have. Although it is a good set if you are interested in whole symphonies, please be aware the quality issues. For collectors of the original recordings as they were issued, a few of the very limited edition Volume 2 (Symphony 21-39 and "A" & "B") are still available. See www.averys.co.uk/haydncds for details.
