Adam Fischer will conduct the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra

Although Adam Fischer is known as a successful Opera conductor, he does not forget concert activities. This season he gave a wonderful performance with Vienna Symphony Orchestra.

Maybe because of this success, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra has now invited him to conduct. The concert is part of the Vienna Festival. There will be two performances at the Konzerthaus on 4 and 6 of June 2004. The programmes are works by Viennese composers of the early 20th century, including Webern and Mahler.

Editorial Note - Fan Club celebrates 10 years anniversary

Time flies like arrow. This October our fan club celebrates 10 years anniversary. When the fan club was started, there were only a few members and the newsletters were very short. Then the number increased constantly and at the moment we have more than 200 members. In 1996 we set up our Internet Home Page. It was one of the pioneer sites of Classical Music.
Due to the recent successes of Adam Fischer and the Haydn Orchestra, the access count of our site has increased. Radio and the press, including the official monthly magazine of the Vienna Musikverein have promoted our site. All together more than 100,000 people have visited to date.

Since all the works from gathering news to publishing the newsletter and updating the website are done privately, sometimes there are delays. However, we keep our policy of "No fee and no duty". Please understand and be patient.
If you have any comment or request for us, please let us know by E-mail or letter. We will do as much as possible to satisfy.
