In the Haydn Year 2009, Adam Fischer and the Haydn Orchestra have a lot of international tours, including a Far East tour. Between late November and early December they will visit Korea and Japan. Haydn Orchestra made the first Far East tour in 1993. This time not only the capital, they will visit several cites which has very good concer hall, including old city Kyoto.
The concert in Tokyo will take place at the Suntory Hall on 3rd of December. The promoter already starts accepting pre-order. For detail please contact http://www.proarte.co.jp/. The fan club member has seat priority. Please tell them you get this information from fan club site.

Haydn memorial year 2009 has come. The Haydn Festival in Eisenstadt has very ambitious plan. In one year, entire Haydn Symphony will be performed at Haydnsaal. The opening concert will be the performance of Concentus Musicus conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt. The church music series will be 09. -13. April. 30. April-03.May will be Trio series, which includes Baryton trio. From 29.Mai to 01.June is the Haydn Memorial Day series. Highlight is of course “The creation” by Adam Fischer and Haydn Orchestra on the death day 31. May .
Not only Haydn, 2009 is 200th birth year of the composer Mendelssohn. The Haydn Orchestra makes Swiss Tour with Cristopher Hogwood. The program includes Mendelssohn piano concerto and the symphony No. 4 “Italy” It has been 250 years since death of Handel. Adam Fischer will conduct the premier of Händel’s opera “Xerexes” in late April.
Next issue we will report two Haydn’s opera premier, “La fedelta Premiata” in
Zurich and “L’anima del filosofo” in Budapest.
